We cut concrete with diamond-blade saws to create straight, square openings in slabs, walls, and structural elements. We saw rather than break, which means clean edges, minimal vibration, minimal dust, and no damage to the structure around the opening.
Our team handles the work wherever an opening has to be accurate, safe, and finished to a professional standard — including occupied, operational, and fully finished spaces where a mess isn't an option.
SLAB SAWING
We run walk-behind diamond saws to make horizontal cuts in floors, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, loading docks, and parking structures, controlling our depth to the exact requirement of the trade following us. We regularly cut for:
- Trenching for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical rough-ins
- Floor openings for stairwells, elevators, shafts, and drains
- Removing damaged or failed sections of slab
- Expansion joints and control joints
- Equipment pads, pits, and recessed openings
WHY WE SCAN BEFORE WE CUT
We know concrete almost always contains rebar, post-tension cables, electrical conduit, and plumbing lines. Cutting blind risks striking a live service, severing a post-tension cable, or compromising the structural capacity of the element being cut — and we know what that costs a project.
That's why we strongly recommend adding GPR concrete scanning to any cut. Using ground-penetrating radar, our team locates and marks what's embedded and lays out the cut line, so we know exactly where the blade can safely go.
We provide both services in-house, so we scan and cut with the same crew on the same visit — one mobilization, one schedule, and one team accountable for the result.
